Campo dei Frari Venice

Image
Campo dei Frari, 30100 Venezia VE, Italy. Campo dei Frari Venice The camp for me, it stays in Venice, was a pleasant crossroads to cross the long and wide Venice. In fact, if you look at the map, it's right in the middle of Venice. I took many photos, but in particular, what strikes me is the red brick and its thickness combined with the glass of the windows. Campo dei Frari is a field in Venice, located in the San Polo district, between Campo San Tomà and Campo San Stin. The field takes its name from the ancient local presence of the minor orders, called in Venetian Frari. Campo dei Frari is one of the most important and popular camps of the lagoon city, due to the presence of the complex of the Basilica of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, one of the major religious buildings in Venice, containing fundamental Renaissance works, such as two altarpieces by Titian. The camp is L-shaped, occupying the area adjacent to the left side of the church and the one facing its facade. In addi…

Campiello Traghetto, 30124, Venice, Venezia, Sestriere San Marco, VE, Italy, gondola station S. Maria del Giglio. Gondola Serenade with dinner. Gondolas have been a tradition in Venice for centuries. Initially used to transport goods down the narrow canals of Venice, today gondolas are primarily used for sightseeing and ceremonial functions. San Marco apartments Venice Copyright "All rights reserved" © By itravelinitaly.com travelers from Italy Baldassarri Giuseppe Visual Storytelling. It seems incredible, but many are looking for apartments in San Marco, in the most beautiful square in the world and also the most expensive. Well, I can assure you that it is not difficult, indeed from personal experience in my last stay I found at a good price an apartment 300 meters from Piazza San Marco in Venice, and it was the final day of the carnival in Venice, so it is possible to book 1 month before. Venice is not very big, so you can easily reach Piazza San Marco on foot from any location. Many tourists stay on average 3 days, so it is easy to find availability during the week. If I could I would live in Venice all year round, not only because of the places frequented by tourists but because I love every corner of …

The Grand Canal Venice

Grand Canal, 30100 Venice, Metropolitan City of Venice,  Sestière di San Polo, Veneto, Italy. Gallery, Pinterest, Facebook, Post.
The Grand Canal Venice, called the "Canalazzo" by the Venetians, divides the historic center of the city into two parts. It is much older than Venice, and the construction of the city on its banks has had to adapt to the path that the main waterway takes. The Canal runs for about four kilometers and has the shape of an inverted "S" having two ends like the Graft of the Ponte della Libertà and the S. Marco Basin. The Grand Canal, on average, is 5 meters deep and its width varies depending on the points, where it can reach a maximum of 70 meters. Along the entire perimeter, it is possible to appreciate the testimonies of the greatness achieved by the Republic of Venice. The city seen from the water offers the best version of itself: the ornate entrances of the rich buildings along the canal face the water, and seeing them from the Vapore…

An older one that overlooks the Grand Canal with its palaces, and the other more recent (especially the 600-700) more popular. The lively Cannaregio district is known for the Jewish ghetto of the sixteenth century. The Strada Nova is a famous local shopping street, while the secondary streets are a destination for lovers of crafts and vintage products. Doge's Palace Venice, Piazza San Marco 1, Venezia, Venice, Sestière di San Marco, Veneto, Italy I have always been a great admirer of the director and actor since he was a child of Orson Welles. His unique shots in movies, his stories, I love everything. When the restored copy of his OTHELLO film finally came out, I immediately bought a copy to see it many times over. In my photos, in my small way, I am influenced by his shots, so much so as to dedicate this photo to him, an emblematic image of how Orson Welles in his Othello showed Venice and the Palazzo Ducale.
