Free Beach - South Promenade. Civitanova Marche is a crossroads for any direction, so much so that in recent years it has developed a lot, but its characters beyond the centrality are the promenade and its beaches, especially in the South.

Civitanova Marche is a popular seaside resort on the Adriatic coast. The long beach is divided by the fishing port and the tourist port. To the north, the beach is broad and sandy and the water is shallow; the south coast, on the other hand, has a mixed beach of sand and gravel and deeper waters. On the coast there is already on the coast a stretch of cycle path of the Adriatic Ciclovia, which once completed…

Abruzzo or Abruzzi is a region of Southern Italy, Its Capital Pescara

Image
Abruzzo or Abruzzi is a region of Southern Italy. Abruzzo is located in central Italy and stretches from the heart of the Apennines to the Adriatic Sea, on mostly mountainous and wild terrain. In the mountains, tourist resorts and well-equipped facilities for skiing and winter sports rise among unpolluted peaks and rocky walls: among them are Pescasseroli, Rivisondoli, and Roccaraso. The natural landscape of the high and steep peaks of the Gran Sasso, Laga Mountains, and Mount Majella slopes down to a wide range of hills until it finally reaches the Adriatic coast. The route that spans from the Gran Sasso down to the sea crosses territories that are rich in history, traditions, and art that never cease to surprise visitors. Narrow valleys and impressive, natural paths thrust their way into the mountains and hills, as does the amazing and fascinating Aterno Valley, crawling with ancient villages. Natural reserves, like the National Park of Abruzzo, the Park of Gran Sasso and the Laga M…

The Sibillini Mountains and the middle region.

Sibillini Mountains, 63088 Montemonaco, Province of Ascoli Piceno and Fermo, Italy The Sibillini Mountains. From the balcony of my house, I took this photo, without filters, the Sibillini mountains are about 70 km away, yet they look as good as this sunset. The Sibillini Mountains are so fascinating at only 70 Km from the Adriatic coast, they are rich in history and beauty, I have this fortune to always admire them, sometimes they scream, sometimes they change color, they often blow a cold womb which in winter freezes you, but d summer is a pleasure to hear it coming. This is my land between the sea and the mountains, in the midst of enchanting valleys and small villages nestled in the hills. Molise is situated in south-central Italy and lies between the Apennine ridge and the Adriatic Sea. Nature, history, art, age-old traditions, and good food are the treasures of this still largely undiscovered region. Visiting Molise, you get that Eureka feeling of discovery, starting with its mainly mountainous and hilly layout, scored by the characteristic tratturi, the historic trails of seasonal migration of people and livestock that join the pastures of Abruzzo to those of Apulia. The National Park of Abruzzo, Lazio, and Molise reveals unexpected and magnificent landscapes, while the many nature reserves protect the vegetable and animal species representative of this area. Nature un-spoiled frames the two most important ski resorts in the region: Campitello Matese and Capracotta. The coast boasts sandy beaches surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, as year after year. Torre di Palme is an ancient medieval village that stands on the slopes of a hill located close to the Adriatic coast, four kilometers south of the resort of Porto San Giorgio. Ipse dixit; “Life is what we make of it. Travel is the traveler. What we see isn't what we see but what we are.” ― Fernando Pessoa, The Book of Disquiet.
The Gothic-Venetian style of the fifteenth century, with a carved Istrian stone facade and pointed arches, whose intertwined ribs create a delicate ornamental design.  Petritoli is a hilly municipality in the province of Fermo that dominates the green and fertile Aso valley, of which it represents an important economic center for the rich land of olive trees, mulberry trees and hills. It offers a vast and wonderful view that ranges from the Sibillini Mountains to the Adriatic coast.

Those blue mountains

Those blue mountains. Of that distant sea, those blue mountains, which I discover from here, and which to cross one day. I thought, arcane worlds, arcana. Happiness pretending to my life! Ipse Dixit Giacomo Leopardi.
Recanati Town in Italy. Recanati is a town and comune in the Province of Macerata, in the Marche region of Italy. Recanati is an immense natural balcony, located on a typically Marche hill.

A balcony from which you can look out for kilometers, admiring on one side the distant shape of Monte Conero that dominates the Adriatic coast, or, turning your head, get lost in the splendid and characteristic Marche countryside, with sweet and harmoniously colored shapes from light-dark brown mixed with the green of trees and crops along the fields. A harmony that spreads deep and that really gives the sense of infinity to the look. And stopping on some of the railings placed on this walk around the walls gives the sensation of getting lost in this immensity and, as Leopardi wrote, d…

Inside there are fine neo-classical frescoed ceilings, while outside there is a fine example of a 14th-century Gothic brick arch. Via Ischia, 155, 60026, Grottammare, AP, Italy Each point of the earth's surface passes a single parallel, used in geography to establish the position of a given location through the so-called latitude. Being in the precise point where a parallel passes, therefore, means being "tied" by an invisible thread to all the other places that are in the same condition. And from Vladivostok to Milwaukee, from Grottammare to Sapporo, the 43rd Parallel of the northern hemisphere passes. Much more than simple geographical curiosity, so much so that in Grottammare (in the province of Ascoli Piceno) on the Adriatic coast, they decided to identify the precise point where the 43rd Parallel crosses the territory. Also known as "Le Puglie" in the plural form, this region contains, in fact, many souls. The “heel of Italy's boot," Apulia is a charming region that can be visited all year round and is suspended among nature, history, tradition, tastes, and spirituality. Apulia, the spur of the Italian Boot, is an enchanting region that spreads lengthwise along the sea - marvelous beaches that will delight every traveler, from the sandy Torre dell' Orso and Porto Cesario to the rocky, boulder-encrusted Riviera of Otranto and Santa Maria di Leuca. At Santa Maria di Leuca the calm and crystalline waters of the Ionian Sea mix with those of the intense and azure Adriatic. Italy: the most beautiful country in the world.
Top Rated Tourist Attractions in Italy, 1 Colosseum Rome, 2 Venice Canals, 3 Pompeii, 4 Leaning Tower of Pisa, 5 Lake Como, 6 Amalfi Coast, 7 Florence Duomo Santa Maria del Fiore, 8 Cinque Terre. We are in Italy and we know that we have one of the most visited countries in the world under our feet, a unique country, rich in history, culture, natural resources, and a consolidated artisan and gastronomic tradition. Yes an open-air museum, in every corner, in every street, in every small neighborhood hides a piece of history, tradition, and culture. If you can meet the expectations of tourists they will talk about it with relatives, friends, in blogs, share photos and comments on social media, encouraging you to visit the white beaches of Salento, to take a photo in front of the imposing Colosseum, to watch the view from a high altitude refuge in the Dolomites, to be lulled in the lagoon on a gondola in Venice, to taste a plate of freshly baked lasagna in a typical Emilian inn ... But there is more but much more. The Italian Small towns and Borghi villages that tourists should see, large and small, medieval and baroque, perched on high mountains or along coasts. The most beautiful villages along with the boot - worthy of being seen at least once in a lifetime - for the kitchen, the art, the landscape, the history . From Cornello dei Tasso, in the province of Bergamo, a medieval fairytale village where time seems to stand still in Scanno, in Abruzzo, a rural paradise . Up to Marettimo, in the Egadi, a refuge in all senses . Click here for a map.
