Altidona at the lake

Image
Contrada Carbuccio 25, 63824 Marina di Altidona FM, Italy. Altidona at the lake A beautiful sunset, the calm waters of the lake, the only pleasant chatter of animals, ducks, trouts and carp that emerge to gasp, the sound of footsteps in the grass, all these taking pictures continuously, this I do in a beautiful afternoon in Altidona, surrounded by nature. And what's better. Lago Azzurro Marina Di Altidona Altidona Valdaso Copyright “All rights reserved” © By itravelinitaly.com travelers from Italy Baldassarri Giuseppe Visual Storytelling.

San Marco apartments Venice

Image
Sestiere di S. Marco, 3155, 30124 Venezia VE, Italy. It seems incredible, but many are looking for apartments in San Marco, in the most beautiful square in the world and also the most expensive. Well, I can assure you that it is not difficult, indeed from personal experience in my last stay I found at a good price an apartment 300 meters from Piazza San Marco in Venice, and it was the final day of the carnival in Venice, so it is possible to book 1 month before. Venice is not very big, so you can easily reach Piazza San Marco on foot from any location. Many tourists stay on average 3 days, so it is easy to find availability during the week. If I could I would live in Venice all year round, not only because of the places frequented by tourists but because I love every corner of that paradise. The old Procuratie Venice

Image
Piazza San Marco, 119, 30124 Venezia VE, Italy. The Procuratie are imposing buildings that rise in Venice, in the Sestiere of San Marco, and that surround Piazza San Marco on three sides. They are divided into three wings that almost completely define the part of the square in front of the Basilica of San Marco: the Procuratie Vecchie in the north, the Napoleonic Wing in the west and the Procuratie Nuove in the south. The Procuratie Vecchie extend for 152 meters, from the Clock Tower towards the Napoleonic Wing, with a portico of 50 arches, which correspond to the 100 windows of the two upper floors. Although they are all rounded, the lightness of the openings recalls the Venetian-Byzantine style of the first procuratie, built in the 12th century under the Doge Sebastiano Ziani (visible in the famous painting by Gentile Bellini "The Procession in Piazza San Marco") and intended for to a…
