The facade overlooking Piazza Amedeo Lattanzi, dating back to the seventeenth century, is built of bricks and stones. Without decorations, it has a portal and a rose window. Stupendous is the robust and thirteenth-century bell tower, original and decorated with pointed arches. Through the four large single lancet windows, you can see the trusses of the roof built in the restoration of the eighteenth century after the collapse of the cusp, which occurred following a lightning strike. To the right of the building, th…

... We are in Italy and we know that we have one of the most visited countries in the world under our feet, a unique country, rich in history, culture, natural resources, and a consolidated artisan and gastronomic tradition. Yes an open-air museum, in every corner, in every street, in every small neighborhood hides a piece of history, tradition, and culture. If you can meet the expectations of tourists they will talk about it with relatives, friends, in blogs, share photos and comments on social media, encouraging you to visit the white beaches of Salento, to take a photo in front of the imposing Colosseum, to watch the view from a high altitude refuge in the Dolomites, to be lulled in the lagoon on a gondola in Venice, to taste a plate of freshly baked lasagna in a typical Emilian inn ... But there is more but much more. The Italian Small towns and "Borghi" villages that tourists should see, large and small, medieval and baroque, perched on high mountains or along coasts

Summer, soon I'll dive into the seafoam.

Image
Marine foam. Endless ribbons of seafoam twist along the shore left by the waves, waves have drawn into the sea. Many waves, their numbers will never be known. With a walk, I trace their path on the edge of the water. Even if the path I have traveled leads nowhere, it still gives me direction. My body follows my eyes, my eyes follow the foam, the infinite twisted foam. Reassuring, frightening, peaceful, stormy, disturbing, dark, romantic. The sea, for each of us, can represent many things, remember many moments, arouse many sensations. There are those who fear it, those who love to look at it, those who approach it timidly, those who cannot stay away from it. And you, what relationship do you have with the sea?

The mallard. –

Image
In the wild, the mallard has mainly crepuscular habits, preferring to spend the central hours of the day hidden in wet sheltered locations and with thick vegetation.

A flight of wild ducks
Wave after wave
gift receiving

clear transparencies

while
I strip myself of my dark bodies

You
with delicate light, you cover my heart with joyful hands

that sea is formed in us Love longed for

in heavens
crystal

your eyes

from Your kissed

our germane souls increasingly free in real wings fly from Sun to Sun from Victory to Victory,

The author of this poem work Vincenzo Capitanucci

Seaside –

Image
Midday on the still and warm sea:
she accepts me without shouting: a silence and a smile.
Latin spirit, Antiquity, a veil of modesty on the tortured cry!
Latin life that knows its limits,
reassuring past, oh! Mediterranean!
Silent voices still triumph on your banks,
who say yes because they denied you!
Huge and light,
assure and satisfy and murmur the eternity of your minutes,
Oh! Mediterranean! And the miracle of your story,
you enclose it all
in the explosion of your smile.

From the Mediterranean by Albert Camus

From Cornello dei Tasso, in the province of Bergamo, a medieval fairytale village where time seems to stand still in Scanno, in Abruzzo, a rural paradise . Up to Marettimo, in the Egadi, a refuge in all senses . Click here for a map.
