One of my favorite places. I lived on the Riviera del Conero for 18 years, my parents have a house on the Riviera when I can, I go to admire the Conero, even in winter, for its fantastic micro-climate and for its landscapes, but above all for the good memories. The beach of Numana Alta and the beach of the Friars have side stretches of free beach. From the port of Numana towards Marcelli di Numana, there are free beaches.

Campofilone and the "Rocca".

Image
Campofilone, The Marches, Italy
Campofilone and the crenelated walls of the fortress "Rocca". 63828 Campofilone, Province of Fermo, Italy. The village, tapering in shape, rises along the main street that is overlooked by the main buildings behind which a labyrinth of alleys opens up, sometimes covered by barrel vaults and cross vaults and which, from time to time, give a glimpse of the beauty of the landscape that surrounds it. ... Porta da Bora: rebuilt in the Renaissance, from the beginning, together with the one called "da Sole", it served as a barrier along the ancient Roman road artery. Porta Marina: obtained by breaking down the tower located in the eastern tip of the old town, it is now the main entrance to the historic center of Campofilone. La Castagna: wall structure with a square plan and a tower shape. In addition to the crenelated walls, Campofilone preserves two polygonal towers located to the east and west of the walled center; the first was transfo…

Promenade of Porto Recanati Riviera del Conero

Image
Porto Recanati, The Marches, Italy. Piazza delle Vele, Viale 29 marzo, Viale della Montecatini, 34, 62017 Porto Recanati MC, Italy. Summer is late in coming, it has not rained almost all winter, so the important thing is that it rains in May, then this summer so much will come, we are ready. That is I am ready, I can't wait to melt in the sea, feel the saltiness and continue to dive into the sea, swim, swim to the point of exhaustion, sunbathe and enjoy the beach until sunset. From here, Porto Recanati in fact, we see the Monte Conero, a promontory on the sea unique for its landscapes, and in summer it is a spectacle. Promenade Porto Recanati The Marches Italy Copyright “All rights reserved” © By itravelinitaly.com travelers from Italy Baldassarri Giuseppe Visual Storytelling.

The Sibillini Mountains and the middle region.

Image
Sibillini Mountains, 63088 Montemonaco, Province of Ascoli Piceno and Fermo, Italy The Sibillini Mountains. From the balcony of my house, I took this photo, without filters, the Sibillini mountains are about 70 km away, yet they look as good as this sunset. The Sibillini Mountains are so fascinating at only 70 Km from the Adriatic coast, they are rich in history and beauty, I have this fortune to always admire them, sometimes they scream, sometimes they change color, they often blow a cold womb which in winter freezes you, but d summer is a pleasure to hear it coming. This is my land between the sea and the mountains, in the midst of enchanting valleys and small villages nestled in the hills. I want a house facing the sea

Image
I only have to get there on foot, like this, just walk the sand and the sea. Small and narrow houses that go by height, and I want to see the sunrise, sunset, the stormy sea, calm, and the summer the heat burn the walls, sweat, sweat, feel the heat of the sand burn your feet, and throw me in the water, swim and swim, look at my house from the sea, with all the tranquility and life of the sea. See the fish jump, the currents change, the waves break on the shore.

The Adriatic Sea the wind and the seagulls Porto Recanati

Image
Via Lepanto, 62017 Porto Recanati MC, Italy
The Adriatic caressed by the cold east wind in late April, colors the sea of shades of blue-gray or deep green, clouds like cotton candy create incomprehensible shapes, water predominates by changing the landscape, and seagulls triumph over flying hair of broken waves in the cliff.

Avenue on the sea of Porto Recanati.

Porto Recanati, The Marches, Italy
A very nice long sea, when I arrived in Porto Recanati in 1978 it was not like that, the cars had access to the seafront. Then immediately after, they closed the seafront, with access only to pedestrians and bicycles, from that moment it changed everything slowly, from a simple small fishing village with a splendid view on the Monte Conero promontory, to a beautiful tourist resort. On the road they put the bricks to the ground, the houses have been renovated, even with bright but beautiful colors. Therefore, only foresight can save us from the landscape degradation perpetrated by building speculators.

Passing wrapped in thoughts

Near my house, in Marina di Altidona, I can get there on foot, there is a little paradise, called the blue lake. An artificial lake obtained from nearby rivers, always full of fishermen of sport fishing, the perfect place to immerse yourself in nature, full of ducks even those with a bottle green head with metallic reflections, the duck of Fois Gras. Usually, from the lake, I set out wrapped in thoughts for the path that leads to the sea on the beach, therefore a paradise.
