Valdaso The Aso Valley.

Image
63827 Valdaso, Province of Fermo, Italy. The Aso Valley, a magnificent area consisting of countless plots of the forest, orchards, vineyards, vegetable gardens, arable land; a high level of livability for the almost total absence of pollutants. The river from which it takes its name, from the Latin Asis, was born in Montemonaco, between Monte Porche and Cima del Prata, winding along the valley for a length of 63 km, then flows into the Adriatic Sea at the height of the municipality of Pedaso.

Its most prominent feature is its boot-like shape kicking the island of Sicily. Much of Italy is covered by mountains. Pedaso promenade on the seafront Italy

Image
Lungomare dei cantautori del XX secolo Pedaso, 63827 Pedaso, Province of Fermo, Italy. Walking along the "20th century singer-songwriter's promenade", it is possible to walk along the beach for about two kilometers on a path accessible by underpasses dedicated to songwriters of our time: Fabrizio De Andrè, Giorgio Gaber, Luigi Tenco, Pierangelo Bertoli; Domenico Modugno, Sergio Endrigo, Lucio Battisti. The small port, built near the mouth of the Aso river, is a dock for small fishing operators and pleasure boats, it is also a small market where you can buy fresh fish every morning. Near the sea, the public gardens with the scent of flowers, the green of the meadows and the fragrance of the essences are the ideal place to rest your soul and body.

Portonovo Monte Conero

Image
60129 Portonovo AN, Italy.  Deals Finder in Portonovo is a top pick on our site amongst travelers for Hotel, Apartments, Resorts, Villas, BB, Guesthouses. Part of the Conero Park. Its territory with small valleys and hills almost completely covered with Mediterranean scrub; it is dominated by the massive presence of Monte Conero which, with its cliffs, delimits the area to the south; to the north, instead, Portonovo overlooks the sea with a white stony beach with a sinuous course and that towards the west curves into the bay that gave its name to the town. On the beach, gravel and stony sections alternate, with very white and rounded limestone pebbles, considered one of the peculiarities of the town. The presence of the woods directly in contact with the beach, together with the open views towards the majestic mass of Conero, constitute a great attraction of the Marche Region.

Montefiore dell'Aso landscape on the background of the Sibillini Mountains

Image
Montefiore dell'Aso landscape on the background of the Sibillini Mountains. "A sway of happy hills, of pleasant piazzas and of spacious fields, with the sea from afar and therefore the mountain ...". We are in the Marche of Leopardi, a landscape that can still be contemplated in its serenity from the top of many ancient villages. The best way to get to know them is to reach them on foot like the travelers of yesteryear, through white roads and swaying paths in the hills.

Grottammare Terrace overlooking the sea

With the irises facing out, extruded from the balustrade, to navigate leagues in the distance, impenetrable to tear, from the last bloodless sky,  your fleeting glimpse, drowning at dusk. Love poem by Hermetic Lunacy.

GROTTAMMARE BORGO THE CHURCH OF SANT'AGOSTINO

Image
The church is an excellent example of the sober and essential architecture that characterizes most of the local buildings, even the most relevant ones. The facade is linear, devoid of any decorative element. At the top, above the entrance portal, there are some majolica basins arranged in the shape of a cross, according to Augustinian use, unfortunately very ruined. The facade is concluded by a simple gable roof. The apse of the church, oriented towards the sea, has a fortified aspect, as frequently happens in ancient local churches which also constituted a garrison against enemy incursions: it is embattled and crossed externally by two buttresses. Next to the apse is the severed bell tower which, according to tradition, was reduced in this way because the Augustinian monk Martin Luther was hosted in the convent during his journey to Rome before the great schism. The church has a longitudinal plan, with a single covered nave with a gable roof and wooden trusses. The church has three a…

Above the quiet dock

Image
Above the Dock by T. E. Hulme
Above the quiet dock in the midnight,
Tangled in the tall mast's corded height,
Hangs the moon. What seemed so far away
It is but a child's balloon, forgotten after play.

Capri landscape

Image
Capri is vertical - it's all about going up with your gaze and looking down. And always find blue, even if it is not the same blue, never. And always find transparencies, which are not the same transparencies, never. Sky and sea are reflected, the color always steals each other above one another, but their reflections do not resemble each other. Never. Written by Raffaele La Capria

Landscapes

The mallard. –

Image
In the wild, the mallard has mainly crepuscular habits, preferring to spend the central hours of the day hidden in wet sheltered locations and with thick vegetation.

A flight of wild ducks
Wave after wave
gift receiving

clear transparencies

while
I strip myself of my dark bodies

You
with delicate light, you cover my heart with joyful hands

that sea is formed in us Love longed for

in heavens
crystal

your eyes

from Your kissed

our germane souls increasingly free in real wings fly from Sun to Sun from Victory to Victory,

The author of this poem work Vincenzo Capitanucci

Pedaso lighthouse

Image
Pedaso lighthouse Photo and Copyright By Baldassarri Giuseppe Travel is the traveler in Italy itravelinitaly.comPedaso lighthouse The lighthouse dominates the coast, between gorse and natural vegetation, it rises from the coast on Monte Serrone, to see if you just have to take the scenic road above the "old" Pedaso and even here you will be entranced by the panorama where the green merges with the blue of the horizon right before your eyes. In summer you can take historical-naturalistic routes that from the lighthouse lead to the belvedere and right from the top you can admire the sea, the horizon and grasp the peculiarities of the territory until you get to know one by one the rocks with the most bizarre names given by old fishermen.

His multiple identities

Image
The Marche region is also beautiful for its multiple identities Photo and Copyright By Baldassarri Giuseppe Travel is the traveler in Italy itravelinitaly.comThe Marche region is also beautiful for its multiple identities... The Marche is a degradation of gentle hills and valleys that descend from the Apennines to the sea. In the internal areas, ancient villages survive, medieval settlements enclosed within walls, castles, and fortresses overlooking the hills. The typical feature of the Marche landscape is a succession of soft hills that, like so many waves, chase each other up to the coasts, where golden and fine sand beaches stretch into the sea waters, in a continuous and uniform line interrupted only by the Conero promontory, which on the one hand gently descends into the waves and on the other throws itself steep and steep among the waves.
