Via della Repubblica, 8, 62017, Porto Recanati Province of Macerata, MC, Marches, Italy

I spent a whole morning photographing from a roof-garden on the 5th floor, the fabulous kite surfers of Porto Recanati. The sea was rough with strong winds from the northwest, I think Kitesurfing was ideal, they were at least 20 to flutter.

To share on@itravelinitaly_com,

Fantastic and romantic places, the Cinque Terre have to be visited as a couple, I prefer it in low season to fully enjoy the Tour.
The tiny harbor of Manarola features a boat ramp and colorful houses tripping down the ravine. It may well be the oldest of the five villages, with the cornerstone of the church of San Lorenzo dating back to 1338.
The Cinque Terre stretch of coastline is a National Park, a Protected Marine Area, and is included on UNESCO's World Heritage List. After being placed on a list of sites at risk, the Park Authority began a long term project to revitalize the farming practices that created the characteristic hillside terraces, many of which were falling into disuse. Restaurant casa de mar, always a thrill, eating by the sea, 3 meters from the sea, and eating divinely. I have known the location for a long time, since their opening, but this management with their delicious dishes and kindness of the staff and managers, have added something more. We have known their dishes in many events and can only say that they are delicious. For me very special, risotto with citrus fruits and campofiloni. In this hot summer, I enjoyed the sea, like this no filter retouched photo, the sea ignites on the horizon, it was 6:30 am and in this panorama accompanied only by the cry of the seagulls, by the noise from the waves slipped to the shore and the smell of salt air, I swam following the reflection of the sun on the horizon, lit by a golden yellow color.

Village Borgo Marano Cupra Marittima

Image
Castrum Maranum, The old, medieval, incised Marano on the hill constitutes the main nucleus of the village, while it is in the second half of the nineteenth century that, further down, the seaside village takes shape; there are also archaeological sites that refer to the Piceny civilization (VIII-VII century BC) that the human settlements become more intense, as evidenced by the numerous necropolis in the Castelletta district, rich in grave goods. Defeated the Picenes (268 BC), Cupra Marittima became a Roman colony and the ager cuprensis was identified with the Regio V Picenum famous for the production of oil, olives and maritime trade with its large port located to the north of the current country. In this area there were warehouses, the moorings of ships and amphorae that were used for the transport of wheat and oil came to light. With the fall of the Western Roman Empire, the barbarians broke out: Cupra was sacked many times and underwent the domination of Byzantines, Longobards, a…

Traveling to Italy?

Italy, like the Italians, is a country full of amiable and cultured contradictions, but at the same time disordered and unruly. But perhaps the beauty of Italy and Italians is just that: being always a little unpredictable and difficult to catalog. In Italy we have everything, what do you like best. Do you prefer northern, central or southern Italy for your holidays in Italy?

Northern Italy. The northern regions of Italy are full of spectacular mountain landscapes, while other areas, especially on the east coast, are flat at the entrance to the Adriatic Sea.

Southern Italy it is the heat of the sun and the color of the landscapes, Italy in its most ancient form, full of feeling and sensual. Down here, the ruins are older, the longest lunches and the wildest and most intense landscapes.

Italy: the most beautiful country in the world.
Italy: the most beautiful country in the world. We are in Italy and we know that we have one of the most visited countries in the world under our feet, a unique country, rich in history, culture, natural resources, and a consolidated artisan and gastronomic tradition. Yes an open-air museum, in every corner, in every street, in every small neighborhood hides a piece of history, tradition, and culture. If you can meet the expectations of tourists they will talk about it with relatives, friends, in blogs, share photos and comments on social media, encouraging you to visit the white beaches of Salento, to take a photo in front of the imposing Colosseum, to watch the view from a high altitude refuge in the Dolomites, to be lulled in the lagoon on a gondola in Venice, to taste a plate of freshly baked lasagna in a typical Emilian inn ... But there is more but much more. The Italian Small towns and Borghi villages that tourists should see, large and small, medieval and baroque, perched on high mountains or along coasts. The most beautiful villages along with the boot - worthy of being seen at least once in a lifetime - for the kitchen, the art, the landscape, the history . From Cornello dei Tasso, in the province of Bergamo, a medieval fairytale village where time seems to stand still in Scanno, in Abruzzo, a rural paradise . Up to Marettimo, in the Egadi, a refuge in all senses . Click here for a map.
