Altidona from the waters of the Sibillini mountains, up to the Adriatic Sea.

Image
63824 Altidona, Province of Fermo, Italy. The vast territory that opens, in the center of Fermano, along the course of the Aso river, from the sources in the heart of the Sibillini mountains, to the beaches overlooking the Adriatic Sea. The landscape is particularly varied, articulated and never the same. A vast range of reliefs rises from the sea, as far as the eye can see, to reach the mountains in a succession of cultivated hills dotted with woods and small inhabited centers on which towers and bell towers stand out.

Altidona characteristic medieval village.

Image
63824 Altidona, Province of Fermo, Italy. Altidona like many other small castles in the Marche, also Altidona stands on a narrow elongated hill and its urban development follows its reliefs. The result is that beyond the main street, there are only several alleys perpendicular to the main herringbone axis, which go right up to the circle of the walls offering squares and belvedere with views from the valleys to the sea. The history of Altidona starts in the distant lower Paleolithic, in the Roman period there were several patrician villas, then in the Middle Ages, the building took place and was linked to the events of Fermo, of which it became a second-degree castle. Altidona from the historic center lies in the countryside until it reaches the sea, where you can enjoy the beauty of a natural beach. Altidona is flanked by the Aso river that accompanies it to the sea, on this route we find a walk that immerses itself in a green natural environment. The park of the 'two bridges&…

Marina di Altidona Video

Image
Marina di Altidona, a seaside village in the municipality of Altidona, located on the bottom of the hill, part of the valley of the Aso river in the province of Fermo, dominates part of the Aso valley.
Marina di Altidona beach has a large beach and sand mixed with pebbles and gravel. Easy to access from the coast surrounded by a comfortable cycle path.
Located between the beaches of Marina Palmense and Pedaso, in the Marche region, it shares with them the peace of a quiet seaside resort without having to give up the comforts offered by the bathing establishments (chalets).
The seabed is sloping and the breakwater cliffs form real pools where even the youngest members of the family can play safely on the shore.

The light of the clouds with a colorful winter sea. I like the winter sea. He puts the waves in it, I put my thoughts into it. Lie on the sand of the winter sea, open your hands to the sun and let your identity evaporate. The sea in winter has magic that summer will never understand. I like the winter sea because it is for a few. There are parts of me that exist only when the wind blows from the west and the sea is stormy and the clouds flow fast in a sky full of wonder and strange colors.
Last shots and stories, continue here.

Contrada Carbuccio 25, 63824 Marina di Altidona, Altidona, Fermano, FM, Marches, Italy. Altidona at the lake A beautiful sunset, the calm waters of the lake, the only pleasant chatter of animals, ducks, trouts and carp that emerge to gasp, the sound of footsteps in the grass, all these taking pictures continuously, this I do in a beautiful afternoon in Altidona, surrounded by nature. And what's better.

MOBY-DICK; or, THE WHALE. ByHerman Melville Circumambulate the city of a dreamy Sabbath afternoon. Go from Corlears Hook to Coenties Slip, and from thence, by Whitehall, northward. What do you see?—Posted like silent sentinels all around the town, stand thousands upon thousands of mortal men fixed in ocean reveries. Some leaning against the spiles; some seated upon the pier-heads; some looking over the bulwarks of ships from China; some high aloft in the rigging, as if striving to get a still better seaward peep. But these are all landsmen; of week days pent up in lath and plaster—tied to counters, nailed to benches, clinched to desks. How then is this? Are the green fields gone? What do they here?

Marina di Altidona This Summer, at the first light of dawn, I woke up, with the intention of taking photographs at the bays of Marina di Altidona, also because perhaps the weather was changing, in fact, this was the case. Every day I fall to the sea at a quarter to eight in the morning at the Bay of Marina di Altidona, never have I brought my camera, today yes. This is the first one I selected. There will be others, 229 photos in all.

Looking north you see Monte Conero very well, 80 km away, but when you don't see it, it's trouble, in fact, this night it will rain and maybe the summer will end, so today I took the last swim of the season on my favorite bay. But good news has arrived, they will move the rocks further ahead, so the beach will be wider, and moreover, they will finally connect the Lungomare of Marina di Altidona to Marina Palmense. The Altidona cycle and pedestrian bridge (FM). Built near the mouth of the river Aso, it allows the cycling connection with Pedaso. The structure is part of the wider project of the Adriatic Cycle Route (one of the ten national cycle routes of the national tourist cycle system) It allows the cycling walk between the two municipalities and is positioned at the center of a cycle junction that will favor the connection between the National Adriatic Cycle Route (from Venice to the Gargano) and the cross-cycle routes (Appennino-Mare) of the regional network (in this case the Ciclovia dell 'Aso.

In this hot summer, I enjoyed the sea, like this no filter retouched photo, the sea ignites on the horizon, it was 6:30 am and in this panorama accompanied only by the cry of the seagulls, by the noise from the waves slipped to the shore and the smell of salt air, I swam following the reflection of the sun on the horizon, lit by a golden yellow color.

I am lucky enough to go to the beach on foot from my house, I take a nice walk along the Aso river, a walk immersed in the greenery up to roast in the snow. Altidona - Pedaso, at that point I turn left, until then the sea is visible. , sometimes you hear, listen, up to the underpass on the photo and the sea breeze of wraps. Italy: the most beautiful country in the world.
Top Rated Tourist Attractions in Italy, 1 Colosseum Rome, 2 Venice Canals, 3 Pompeii, 4 Leaning Tower of Pisa, 5 Lake Como, 6 Amalfi Coast, 7 Florence Duomo Santa Maria del Fiore, 8 Cinque Terre. We are in Italy and we know that we have one of the most visited countries in the world under our feet, a unique country, rich in history, culture, natural resources, and a consolidated artisan and gastronomic tradition. Yes an open-air museum, in every corner, in every street, in every small neighborhood hides a piece of history, tradition, and culture. If you can meet the expectations of tourists they will talk about it with relatives, friends, in blogs, share photos and comments on social media, encouraging you to visit the white beaches of Salento, to take a photo in front of the imposing Colosseum, to watch the view from a high altitude refuge in the Dolomites, to be lulled in the lagoon on a gondola in Venice, to taste a plate of freshly baked lasagna in a typical Emilian inn ... But there is more but much more. The Italian Small towns and Borghi villages that tourists should see, large and small, medieval and baroque, perched on high mountains or along coasts. The most beautiful villages along with the boot - worthy of being seen at least once in a lifetime - for the kitchen, the art, the landscape, the history . From Cornello dei Tasso, in the province of Bergamo, a medieval fairytale village where time seems to stand still in Scanno, in Abruzzo, a rural paradise . Up to Marettimo, in the Egadi, a refuge in all senses . Click here for a map.

Southern Italy it is the heat of the sun and the color of the landscapes, Italy in its most ancient form, full of feeling and sensual. Down here, the ruins are older, the longest lunches and the wildest and most intense landscapes.
