Diamanti a Tavola is the name of the White Truffle Festival of Amandola, a typical product of the Sibillini Mountains, which for almost twenty years animates the historic center in the months of October and November with food and wine stands full of truffle-scented dishes and traditional dishes, without forgetting sweets, cooked wine, and chestnuts. But the real peculiarity of the White Truffle Festival of Amandola, is that the local truffle makers themselves put on display and sell their truffles, after having sieved with their dogs, the woods inside the Monti National Park Sibillini. I don't miss fantasy, but it always seems, every time I walk along the promenade of the 20th-century singer-songwriters in Pedaso, to see a lion's head of rock emerging from the sea.
