Clock tower at San Marco square in Venice Copyright “All rights reserved” © By itravelinitaly.com travelers from Italy Baldassarri Giuseppe Visual Storytelling Piazza San Marco, 30124 Venezia VE, Italy After a nice walk starting from the bakaro, we are coming to piazza san marco and here is a close-up of the clock on the clock tower. The thing that increasingly makes me look at these photographs are the details of every construction in Venice, settlers have nothing in common with each other but perfectly set in this immense heritage. The Ponte de le Tette Venezia Copyright “All rights reserved” © By itravelinitaly.com travelers from Italy Baldassarri Giuseppe Visual Storytelling Ponte delle Tette, Via San Cassiano, 30125 Rio Marle VE, Italy The Ponte de le Tette and the Fondamenta de le Tette are located in Venice, on the border between the San Polo and Santa Croce districts, in the parish of San Cassiano. At the time of the Republic of Venice, the whole area (Carampane) constituted a real red light district, in which tolerance houses abounded and one of these was located right above the Tette bridge.  The prostitutes, leaning out of the windows in the direction of the bridge below, used to lure passers-by by showing them their bare breasts: this is the origin of this singular toponymy. According to the historian Tassini, this custom could have been imposed on prostitutes by a law of the Serenissima to limit the spread of homosexuality, or with the aim of "diverting men from sin against nature w

All this near the famous Campiello del Remer, another the Venetian corner, surrounded by nineteenth-century buildings. In this little square, there used to be several family-owned companies that made gondola oars. From the shores of the campiello, you can admire an excellent panoramic view of the Grand Canal, which includes part of the Rialto Bridge, the Camerlenghi Palace, the Campo dell' Erberia and the long Fabbriche Nuove. Once upon a time there was a thirteenth-century building belonging to the Lion and then to the Morosini. Of it r

What is the first feeling?

Image
Moresco itravelinitaly.com © By Baldassarri Giuseppe Hotel Apartments Resorts Villas B&B Guesthouses In Italy, in all the main squares the clock tower rises high. Sometimes even more than one, in Moresco in the province of Fermano it is also on one of the entrances. Initially medieval constructions, later changed or better improved in the Renaissance, have thus adapted these towers to the existing buildings, visible from very far and sometimes higher than the cathedral of the country. what is the first feeling? in Italy is the type for every old building, the small bricks, the color changes every hour for the sunlight. This for us Italians, and a daily and normal. for a tourist, no. And the first thing that a German friend of mine just told me. To my question, what is the first feeling? Sestière di San Marco, Veneto, Italy The fog had now risen, making the Bridge of Sighs even more mysterious. The Bridge of Sighs, is one of the most photographed magical places in Venice, every time I am in Venice I take more than one photo, from any angle the photo is magical. From the Bridge of Sighs, it emerges that the name, at the time of the Serenissima, would have been attributed to the fact that through the prisoners they sighed because they were aware of the fact that it would be the last time, before being imprisoned, that they would see the outside world. As far as the history of the Bridge of Sighs is concerned, this is a fanciful reconstruction since, in reality, the outside is not visible from the bridge. Bridge of Sighs and its legends Venezia. Image
Porto Recanati Promenade Boulevard Copyright “All rights reserved” © By itravelinitaly.com travelers from Italy Baldassarri Giuseppe Visual Storytelling Porto Recanati, The Marches, Italy A very nice long sea, when I arrived in Porto Recanati in 1978 it was not like that, the cars had access to the seafront. Then immediately after, they closed the seafront, with access only to pedestrians and bicycles, from that moment it changed everything slowly, from a simple small fishing village with a splendid view on the Monte Conero promontory, to a beautiful tourist resort. On the road they put the bricks to the ground, the houses have been renovated, even with bright but beautiful colors. Therefore, only foresight can save us from the landscape degradation perpetrated by building speculators.
